PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! All swimmers and friends are invited to swim AND/OR support the fundraiser! You do not need to be a member of the Rockshire Pool or Swim Team to participate. Please forward this email and the attached flyer to anyone and everyone you think might be interested in swimming OR donating! How it works: 1) Swimmers are encouraged (but not required) to register so we know how many to expect. Registration Form: https://forms.gle/ 2) Swimmers reach out to friends, family, neighbors this week and next. Explain you are participating in a fundraiser for a local family and you plan to swim lengths of the pool on July 23rd. Ask them to sponsor you for a certain amount per length (10 cents, 25 cents, a dollar, 5 dollars, etc). Tell them how many lengths you plan to swim (in 2 hours or less) to help them make a good decision about their pledge. If they agree to sponsor you, please ask them to fill our the Pledge Form: https://forms.gle/ 3) When you are done swimming, contact your sponsors to tell them how many lengths you completed. Ask them to calculate their final contribution, and complete their donation at the Badr Family Gofundme site: If they have completed the Pledge Form above, we will be able to link their donation to the swimmer. Anyone not wishing to participate but interested in donating can simply use the link above. THANK YOU for supporting this event and this beautiful family! Your donations are so appreciated.
