What a great weekend of swimming at PIRC and our last A meet on Saturday. Please read all info below to make sure you RSVP to all of the meets and banquet!

1. Practice schedule for Divisionals swimmers this week:

A reminder that divisionals swimmers will have an adjusted practice schedule this week. Preteam will run as normal, on every day (M-F) at your specifically registered time.

Morning session:

All swimmers- 9-10am

Afternoon:

11&up- 4:15-5:15

10&under- 5:15-6pm

Next week: July 20-24- All star qualifiers only- 5:15-6pm practic. Preteam will be over

2. Friday, July 17- Friday FUN night! Come join us after preteam is over at 6:30pm for our final Friday funnight. Please sign up on the website to bring a side, salad, drinks or dessert. The team will provide pizza, and we will have bingo for any preteam and regular team swimmers!

3. Saturday, July 18- Divisionals meet at Kenmont (2900 Faulkner Pl, Kensington, MD 20895 ). Arrive at 6:45am. Theme: GREEN out! Lunch afterwards at Five Guys (10510 Connecticut Ave, Kensington, MD 20895 ). Please see the attached document about team areas; we are in team area 6.

Schedule:

6:45-7:05 a.m. Kenmont and Glenmont Warm up (K lanes 1-3, G lanes 4-6)

7:00 a.m. Referee and chief judge meet

7:05-7:25 a.m. West HIllandale and Rockshire warm up (R lanes 1-3, WH lanes 4-6)

7:05 a.m. Referee and starter meet

7:10 a.m. Referee, starter, head timer, asst. head timer & announcer meet

7:15 a.m. S&T Judge briefing

7:25-7:45 a.m. Montgomery Square and Potomac Glen Warmup (MS lanes 1-3, PG lanes 4-6)

7:30 a.m. Timer briefing/relay take-off judges briefing

7:40 a.m. Scratch meeting: referee, head coaches, team reps, clerks of course and one computer operator

7:45 a.m. All swimmers out of pool

7:55 a.m. All officials and timers in place

7:55 a.m. National anthem

8:00 a.m. Meet starts

Name tags for all officials and volunteers will be at the Kenmont Reps table located next to the diving board.

***If you preordered shirts, please make sure that you have paid. If you have not preordered shirts, they will be available for sale for $40 at the meet. Payment can be made via cash or Venmo to @Rockshire-Sharks.

4. It’s that time: Please be sure to RSVP on the website for the minimeet (preteam and preteam coaches) and banquet (regular team). They will both be on Sunday, July 19- the minimeet is in the morning at the pool and the banquet is in the afternoon at the Nancy Dacek Center. Both require everyone to RSVP and bring a food dish, so please make sure to sign up by next Wednesday so we have a proper headcount. Thank you!

5. All star meets- Congratulations to our swimmers who qualified for our All star meets! Relays (July 25) and Individuals (July 26). Both will be at Rockville Swim center (355 Martins Lane).
