Congrats on another win on Saturday! And thank you to all who helped and participated in the relays on Friday for the Fourth of July! 1. Coaches Long Course Tuesday, July 8 at 6pm at Rockville Swim Center. There will NOT be practice OR preteam. Please come and cheer on our swimmers at CLC and feel the excitement of an MCSL-wide meet! We will be bringing a tent and encouraging swimmers to attend the meet to cheer on our Sharks who will be swimming! Specific details on the meet schedule, parking, and program can be found here: CLC Meet 2025.
2. B meet HOME vs Tally Ho: Wednesday, July 9. Theme: Togas! Be on deck at 4:45pm. Preteamers be on deck by 5:45. We will start with kickboard races!

5:00-5:20 Rockshire warm up

5:20 Stroke and Turn Officials Briefing with the Referee

5:20-5:40 Tally Ho team warm up

5:30 Timers Briefing with the Head Timer and Starter

5:55 Preteamers, IMs called to the blocks/National Anthem

5:58 Preteam races start

3. Friday FUNnight- Friday July 11 at 6:45pm- come join the team for a grill out and team activity after practice! Please sign up on the website to bring an item to help with the grill out or as a side, drink or dessert!

4. A meet away at Lakelands Saturday, July 12. Theme: Royalty/princes/princesses. Be on deck at 7:45 am. Info from the team reps:

Location: Lakelands Pool – 960 Main Street, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 (located behind the clubhouse)

 Parking: Street parking is available around the pool and clubhouse area. Additional parking can be found two blocks away at Lakelands Park Middle School.

Team Area: Your team area will be located at the start end of the recreation pool (straight back as you enter through the gate). The area includes shaded lounge chairs, but feel free to bring tents and additional seating if needed.

Approximate Schedule:

Lakelands Warm-Ups: 8:00–8:20 AM

Rockshire Warm-Ups: 8:25–8:45 AM

Officials & Stroke & Turn Meeting: 8:30 AM (snack bar near baby pool)

Timers Meeting: 8:40 AM (same location)

Scratch Meeting: 8:50 AM (at the announcer’s table on the competition pool deck)

Meet Start: 9:00 AM

Concessions: Breakfast items and snacks will be available for purchase (cash or Venmo).

5. PIRC relays are Sunday, July 13 at Tally Ho. Theme: Minecraft. We will be decorating at Tally Ho either the evening before or morning of our team area; stay tuned for more details!

6. Rescheduled B meet at Montgomery Square Wednesday, July 16. Be on deck at 4:45! Theme: Decades

7. Please RSVP for our minimeet on Sunday July 20 at 10am in swimtopia! This is a great way to celebrate our preteamers this year; we will have races followed by breakfast and awards.

8. Please RSVP for our team banquet on Sunday, July 20 at 4:30pm at the Nancy Dacek center. Please RSVP and volunteer to bring something for the potluck dinner in the website!

9. Sign up for our WhatsApp messaging service! Biweekly emails will still be sent and should be checked for most thorough information.
