1. Friday, 4th of July 10am-11am- Firecracker relays! - The regular team will have one practice on Friday, July 4, which will be a series of fun relays. There will be breakfast provided afterwards by the team for swimmers and families.
2. Friday, 4th of July 2pm-5pm- Concessions at the pool- we will be grilling out and selling hamburgers, hot dogs, candy, chips and drinks at the pool on Friday, July 4. Come take a dip in the pool and grab some food to support our team! **Note there will be no Friday FunNight- enjoy the fireworks!!!
3. Saturday, July 5 A meet HOME vs New Mark Commons- Swimmers be on Deck by 7:45am. ***WE STILL NEED 2 TIMERS; please sign up on the website!!!****Senior meet**** Theme: Senior Citizens. Lunch afterward at Chik-Fil-A!

The timeline for the meet is as follows:

Rockshire warm-ups: 8:00-8:20 AM

New Mark Commons warm-ups: 8:20-8:40 AM

Officials’ meetings: 8:30 AM

Scratch meeting: 8:45 AM

Meet starts: 9:00 AM

***We will be honoring our seniors at halftime***

4. Looking for something fun to do during the long weekend? We will be taking a team trip to Hershey Park on July 6! If you haven’t yet bought your ticket through the team, additional tickets can be bought here: Hershey Park trip link. Families will be responsible for their own food, parking, and accommodations if desired. Further details will be forthcoming. ***If you bought your tickets prior to May 30th through the team, we have your tickets! We will be seeking you out this week!***

5. Coaches Long Course Tuesday, July 8 at 6pm at Rockville Swim Center. We will be having an abridged practice schedule this day; stay tuned for the details! We will be bringing a tent and encouraging swimmers to attend the meet to cheer on our Sharks who will be swimming! Specific details on the meet schedule, parking, and program can be found here: CLC Meet 2025.

6. B meet HOME vs Tally Ho: Wednesday, July 9. Theme: Togas! Be on deck at 4:45pm. Preteamers be on deck by 5:45. We will start with kickboard races!

5:30 Timers Briefing with the Head Timer and Starter

5:55 Preteamers, IMs called to the blocks/National Anthem

7. PIRC relays at Tally Ho on Sunday July 13- Come to practice with ideas for decorations! This year, PIRC relays will be done similar to last year- no timers needed- and introducing a decorating contest. The theme is Minecraft and we must decorate our own space the night before or morning of the meet. Stay tuned for details- and save those Amazon boxes!
