Hello Rockshire Sharks!

This is the last week of the season before all stars! We had a great weekend of swimming and will be savoring all the fun this week!

1. Six Flags team bonding trip Monday, July 15! Join the team for a day of fun at the park! Please meet in the Rockshire Parking lot at 9:40am sharp! Please remember that every swimmer is responsible for their own transportation. we will caravan over and leave Rockshire at 9:45am and return by 6pm. Please see details for the day and purchasing tickets here. There will be no practice or preteam on Monday July 15; come with us to Six Flags!

3. Practice Schedule for this week:

Monday: NO PRACTICE OR PRETEAM

Tuesday: Afternoon ONLY- Preteam scheduled as usual, 11&up- 4:15pm-5:15pm, 10& under 5:15pm-6pm

Wednesday: Morning ONLY- 11&up 8:45am-10am, 10& under 10am-11am, Makeup Meet at Tally Ho (see below), NO PRETEAM

Thursday: Afternoon ONLY- Preteam scheduled as usual, Divisionals swimmers only: 11&up- 4:15pm-5:15pm, 10& under 5:15pm-6pm

Friday: Afternoon ONLY- Preteam scheduled as usual, Divisionals swimmers ONLY: 11&up- 4:15pm-5:15pm, 10& under 5:15pm-6pm

4. RESCHEDULED: B meet AWAY at Tally Ho on Wednesday, July 17. Theme: Mermaids and Pirates! Address : 8650 Bells Mill Rd. Potomac, MD 20854 Please be on deck by 4:45pm to walk in as a team! The program will be coming out later. There will be no kickboard races or IMs, and the meet will start off essentially where it left off last week because of the weather. ***We still are in need of volunteers for this meet. Please check the volunteer signup to volunteer and ensure your signup is correct. If you have not completed your hours, we will be finding you first:)***

5. Friday FUNight July 19th- Pizza party sendoff!! Please join us for a fun rally send off in preparation for our divisionals meet on Saturday morning! Signups to bring food are here. The team will provide pizza; please bring a salad, drinks or dessert to complete the meal:)

6. Preteam minimeet and awards Sunday, July 21 at 10am at Rockshire: All preteam coaches and swimmers are invited to celebrate their efforts with the minimeet at 10am on July 21. Preteamers will “compete” in kickboard and swim events and we will have a breakfast with awards after the meet. Please RSVP on the website to let us know you are coming and volunteer to supplement the donuts for breakfast!

7. Swim team awards banquet: Sunday, July 21. We will celebrate all of our regular swim team with our yearly awards banquet. This is for the regular team (not preteam) only. Please be sure to RSVP for your family and sign up to bring a dish to share. Thank you!

8. All stars week: Congratulations to those who made it to the All-Star meet! We will share an updated practice schedule later this week for all swimmers in the all-star meet.
