Come join us for lunch after the meet this week on Saturday at Shake Shack in Cabin John on Saturday and California Tortilla in Cabin John on Sunday. It's a great time to hang out with the team!

3. A Meet AWAY Saturday, July 13 vs Potomac Woods. Theme: Safari. Be on deck at 7:45am! ***We are still in need of a stroke and turn judges and a ribbon writer for this meet*** Join us for lunch afterwards at Shake Shack in Cabin John plaza.

Parking

We have ample space in our parking lot for both of our teams. Overflow parking is available next door at Ritchie Park Elementary and across the street at St. Raphael’s church if necessary.

Team Area

Your team area is the grassy space immediately to the right when entering our pool. Your team area should remain shaded for the majority of the meet.

8:00-8:20 - Potomac Woods Warm-up

8:25-8:45 - Rockshire Warm-up

8:30 - Officials Briefing (under Pavilion)

8:40 - Timers Briefing (on deck by mushroom)

8:45 - Scratch Meeting (in front of automation table under the pavilion)

4. PIRC Relays on July 14 at Tally Ho Theme: tie Dye/hippie- Please stay tuned for volunteer opportunities. If you have already signed up, you will be completing your duty, but possibly in a slightly different way (e.g. there will not be timers, just a judge in each lane). 

MEET START TIME: 9:00 AM

ARRIVAL TIME: You may enter the pool at 7:45 AM.

WARM-UP INFORMATION:

8:00 AM to 8:15 AM: Tallyho and Regency Estates

8:15 AM to 8:30 AM Old Farm and Rockshire

8:30 AM to 8:45 AM Inverness

THEME:

The theme this year is Star Wars. Show your spirit! Dress as any Star Wars character and bring your lightsabers! Please bring any Star Wars-themed items to decorate your team area.

PARKING:

Each pool can use 10 parking passes and one handicapped parking pass. I have emailed you the passes to print out and bring to the meet.

In addition, each team can use additional “drop-off” parking passes. These permit you to drop off your swimmer at the pool and park elsewhere. The parking attendant at the bottom of the hill will give you a drop-off pass.

FOOD:

We will have a concession stand with breakfast sandwiches, muffins, fruit, coffee, juice, and other snacks for sale.

TEAM AREAS:

The assigned team areas are as follows:

Rockshire: on the long edge of the pool opposite the side with the diving board

6. Six Flags team bonding trip Monday, July 15! Join the team for a day of fun at the park! ***Signups are on the bulletin board at the pool.*** we usually leave Rockshire at 9:40am and return by 6pm. Please see details for the day and purchasing tickets here. There will be no practice or preteam on Monday July 15; come with us to Six Flags!

7. RESCHEDULED: B meet AWAY at Tally Ho on Wednesday, July 17. Theme: Mermaids and Pirates! Address : 8650 Bells Mill Rd. Potomac, MD 20854 Please be on deck by 4:45pm to walk in as a team! The program will be coming out later. Preteam kickboard races will occur before the start of the meet. ***Please check your signup for the meet to see if you can still complete your volunteer commitment***

9.  Preteam minimeet and awards Sunday, July 21 at 10am at Rockshire: All preteam coaches and swimmers are invited to celebrate their efforts with the minimeet at 10am on July 21. Preteamers will “compete” in kickboard and swim events and we will have a breakfast with awards after the meet. Please RSVP on the website to let us know you are coming!

10. Swim team awards banquet: Sunday, July 21. We will celebrate all of our regular swim team with our yearly awards banquet. Please be sure to RSVP for your family and sign up to bring a dish to share. Thank you!
