1. B meet AWAY at Old Farm on Wednesday, July 3. Theme: USA! Please be on deck by 4:45pm to walk in as a team! There WILL be kickboard races so sign up with Coach Sean's link! We still are in need of a computer verifier and at least 3 timers for the meet. Also, parents please join us at Quincy’s in Potomac Woods plaza after the meet for some hang out time!

2. Come join us for lunch after the meet this week on Saturday at Chipotle in Fallsgrove plaza. Its a great time to hang out with the team!

3. Firecracker relays on Thursday, July 4 at 9am at Rockshire! Come Join us for a fun practice of wacky relays followed by breakfast for the team and families. This is a great, fun way to get the Fourth of July started!

4. Sharks fundraiser: Concession sales on July 4 at the pool! What a better way to spend the fourth of July than hanging out at the pool? We will be selling concessions from 2-5pm including burgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks. Come out to hang out and support your Sharks! We also still need a few volunteers to sign up to help sell food; it's an easy way to hang out by the pool and a guaranteed spot in the shade:)

5. Friday July 5: Friday FUNnight: Join us for pasta night and a team activity after dinner! Don’t forget to sign up here to bring something to share!

6. A Meet HOME Saturday, July 6 vs Garrett Park. Theme: Senior citizens. A reminder that it is our senior meet and we will be honoring all seniors at this meet. Be on deck at 7:45am! ***We are still in need of 2 stroke and turn judges and a timer for this meet*** Join us for lunch afterwards at Chipotle in Fallsgrove plaza.

7. Did you know: you can sign up for all of the meets you are attending NOW? You MUST RSVP to all meets whether or not you are attending. You MUST RSVP for ALL A meets on the TUESDAY prior to the meet, and ALL B meets on the SUNDAY prior to the meet. Here is a quick how-to:

1. Go to the “Meets and events” tab on the task bar. Or simply click on the event on the homepage that is on the right
2. Click on the green button that says “meet entry”
3. Fill out your availability for the meet
4. Leave any notes you need to for coaches
5. Repeat for every meet!

8. Shark Gear and Suits! Don’t delay! In preparation for summer, we have shark gear available via squadlocker here. The team swimsuit is the same as the past two years and can be purchased through swimoutlet found here

11. Thinking about keeping up and improving your swimming in the winter? Start looking now! Several options are already open for registration and fill up quickly. Here are some options already open:

Meets 1x per week, no tryouts, good way to keep up with and learn new strokes

12. Swim team awards banquet: Sunday, July 21. We will celebrate all of our regular swim team with our yearly awards banquet. Please be sure to RSVP for your family and sign up to bring a dish to share. Thank you!
