What a great first B meet last night! Way to go everyone! We also have the return of Friday fun-night and team photos this week. Our first A meet is Saturday! It will be a great week!

1. Preteam and Team Photos on Thursday, June 13 (TONIGHT!) at 5pm!- we will have team photos and preteam photos starting at 5pm. We will end 11&U practice 10 minutes early to accommodate preparation for the photos. Regular team will go first at 5 followed by preteam at 5:30pm. There will be a short preteam parent meeting after the picture with a chance to meet the coaches and any questions about preteam. ***Please be sure to pick up your team t shirt and bag tag at team pictures if you have not already picked them up***

2. FRIDAY FUN NIGHT! - Yes, oh yes, it is back! This Friday, June 14 we will have our first Friday night dinner at the pool after practice to help get ready for our first home meet. Coaches will be leading the team in a team spirited activity and dinner theme will be pasta night. Please sign up to bring something on the website by Thursday. 3. Saturday, June 15- A meet HOME vs Quince Orchard. Theme: Dress as a Dad! Be on deck at 7:45am. Please RSVP your swimmer by Tuesday, June 11. We will head to Chik-Fil-A on research Blvd after the meet for lunch. Please come and join us for lunch; it is a great time to bond with the team after a busy morning of swimming! The timeline for the meet is as follows:

Rockshire warm-ups: 8:00-8:20 AM

Quince Orchard warm-ups: 8:20-8:40 AM

Officials’ meetings: 8:30 AM

Scratch meeting: 8:45 AM

Meet starts: 9:00 AM

We still need one additional ribbon writer and an announcer as well for this Saturday. Please sign up to help us get the meet started!

4. Wednesday, June 19- B meet at HOME vs Montgomery Square. Theme: Hawaiian! Be on deck at 4:45pm. Please be sure to RSVP to the meet on the website!

5. Did you know: you can sign up for all of the meets you are attending NOW? You MUST RSVP to all meets whether or not you are attending. You MUST RSVP for ALL A meets on the TUESDAY prior to the meet, and ALL B meets on the SUNDAY prior to the meet. Here is a quick how-to:

1. Go to the “Meets and events” tab on the task bar. Or simply click on the event on the homepage that is on the right
2. Click on the green button that says “meet entry”
3. Fill out your availability for the meet
4. Leave any notes you need to for coaches
5. Repeat for every meet!

6. Shark Gear and Suits! Don’t delay! In preparation for summer, we have shark gear available via squadlocker here. The team swimsuit is the same as the past two years and can be purchased through swimoutlet found here

10. It’s back! Grownupswimming in the MCSL: By popular demand, there will be a swim team for grownups! Details on registration will follow and meets will be on Sundays. We have had several grownup members of the Rockshire community participate and looking forward to another fun season!
